What I do
I work with a select number of clients at any one time, supporting decisions that sit at the intersection of philanthropy, capital and long-term impact. My work spans both strategy and execution, evolving over time as priorities become clearer and partnerships develop.
For Donors
I work with founders, families and private clients at the point where giving becomes more consequential and the decisions more complex.
This includes:
- Designing and directing an overall philanthropic strategy
- Advising on where and how funding is deployed for maximum impact
- Assessing organisations and opportunities with independence and depth
- Structuring long-term partnerships and significant capital investments
- Developing family charters of giving and multi-generational frameworks
- Advising on governance, effectiveness and enduring philanthropic architecture
My role is often as a trusted partner, entirely on my client's side in decisions that are, ultimately, as personal as they are consequential.
For Organisations
I support non-profits in strengthening their positioning and readiness for significant philanthropic investment.
- Clarifying strategic positioning and proposition
- Strengthening governance and leadership alignment
- Preparing for engagement with major donors and partners
- Ensuring alignment between ambition, delivery and impact
This work is informed by experience on both sides of the table, understanding both donor expectations and organisational realities.
How this work happens
Each engagement is shaped by the individual, the organisation and the context. There is no fixed formula, only a commitment to rigour, discretion and long-term thinking.
There is no template. Every story is different. And I believe every legacy deserves to be built on its own terms.
