What I do

I work with a small number of clients at any one time, supporting decisions that sit at the intersection of philanthropy, capital and long-term impact.

My work typically spans both strategy and execution, evolving over time as priorities become clearer and partnerships develop.

For Donors

I work with founders, principals and families at the point where philanthropy becomes more deliberate and structured.

This may include:

  • shaping an overall approach to giving
  • advising on where and how philanthropic capital is deployed
  • assessing organisations and opportunities for impact
  • supporting long-term partnerships and investment approaches
  • advising on governance, structure and effectiveness

My role is often as a trusted partner, helping to bring clarity to decisions that are both strategic and deeply personal.

For Organisations

I support non-profits in strengthening their positioning and readiness for significant philanthropic investment.

This may include:

  • clarifying strategic positioning and proposition
  • strengthening governance and leadership alignment
  • preparing for engagement with major donors and partners
  • ensuring alignment between ambition, delivery and impact

This work is informed by experience on both sides of the table - understanding both donor expectations and organisational realities.

How this work happens

There is no single template for effective philanthropy.

Each engagement is shaped by the individual, the organisation and the context and typically develops over time rather than as a defined project.

I work in a highly considered, discreet and relationship-led way, often supporting clients over the long term as priorities evolve and decisions deepen.
