Kathryn Maher

Kathryn is a philanthropy advisor working with founders, principals and organisations on the thoughtful deployment of philanthropic capital.

Her work spans both strategy and execution - supporting decisions on where and how capital is deployed, undertaking due diligence, and ensuring that philanthropic investments are structured for long-term effectiveness.

She works with a small number of individuals and families at any one time, often at the point where philanthropy becomes more deliberate and structured, helping to translate personal values into clear, enduring approaches to giving.

Alongside her advisory work with donors, Kathryn supports non-profits in strengthening their positioning, governance and readiness for significant philanthropic investment, bringing a perspective shaped by experience on both sides of the table.

Her previous roles include Executive Director of the Irish Sailing Foundation and Director of Development at Gonzaga College, where she led major philanthropic initiatives and worked closely with donors, boards and leadership teams.

Kathryn works in a highly personal, discreet and relationship-led way, often acting as a trusted partner in decisions that are both strategic and deeply personal.
